It's been a little while since there has been a posting but the LGR goes on.
The next one is this Sunday 16th September. It is a little early for a weather forecast yet but it looks to be autumnal so should be wonderful colours in the countryside.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
The return of engineering works means we will be catching a later train and getting off at Stevenage.
With the end of summer (and the Olympics) engineering works returns to the railways. This weekend there will be no trains stopping at Knebworth before 11am so we will be catching the 10.24 from Finsbury Park and getting off at Stevenage. For those planning to catch the train from Kings Cross, it leaves at 10.19 from platform 10.
At least you will get a lie-in this Sunday and still be able to go for a bike ride!
Finally, if the weather is nice and there is a tailwind, I may cycle out so will meet you in the ticket hall at Stevenage station whenyour train arrives.
